We Value Safety, Transformation, & Community
In a world where it’s easy to feel lost or disconnected, we are doing our best to offer a refuge—a place where you can ask tough questions, seek healing, and experience something real. Whether you’re new to faith, recovering from a negative experience, or simply looking for a community, we’re here to walk with you.
Safety
Finding safety is harder than ever. We also recognize that church hasn’t always been a safe or healing space for everyone. Many of us have experienced exhaustion, confusion, or hurt. We aim to provide a space where everyone can belong, feel known, and explore faith without judgment. You are welcome here, no matter where you’re at.
Transformation
Over time, we’ve seen how lives change through Jesus. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, looking for purpose, or simply wanting more out of life, we have seen God heal and transform. We are a church seeking more than knowledge, we are after transformation.
Community
At Anchor, community means more than just showing up on Sundays. We are a family that actively supports one another—through small groups, outreach, and shared life experiences. Whether it’s delivering a meal, meeting up for coffee, or serving the city together, you’ll find real connections here.

Our Pursuits
Encountering & Following Jesus
We believe and have experienced that this is the best starting point for healing, growth, and discovering who we are and our purpose in the world. We want to follow him in every aspect of our lives.
Friends That Feel Like Family
True transformation happens when friendships deepen into something lasting and meaningful. Our desire is to see relationships where individuals are encouraged, held accountable, and supported in following Jesus.
Loving Buffalo
We never want to be a closed-door people. More than just another church in Buffalo, we want to be for Buffalo—a community of people who give their lives to serve, love, and see our city transformed.
